%X In this work, we propose the development of a system for thunderstorms cell tracking, based on a spatial database. We also introduce a that performs spatio-temporal clustering operations of lightning data using the DBSCAN algorithm. The spatial database query language were used to define the time window, in order to characterize cells associated with storms. In the analyzed period it was identified and tracked 13 precipitation systems in the radar coverage area located in Jaraguari-MS. Identified cells exhibited good consistency with the intensity core of the thunderstorms.
