All of the emissions show distinct semiannual variations, maxima at the equinoxes and minima at the solstices. The October-November maximum of OI5577 intensity is larger than that of March-April, and the opposite is true for the case of OH(6,2). Also, there are strong OI5577 and O2b intensity depletions during a short period in December, absent in the case of the OH emission. Harmonic analysis of the time series suggests that atmospheric tidal oscillations play an important role in the observed semiannual oscillation. %@language English %@copyholder SID/SCD %@secondarytype PRE PI %@area CEA %@group DAE-INPE-MCT-BR %@affiliation Departamento de Física/CCT, Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, Av.
