This document contains directions for the elaboration, formatting and submittal of theses, dissertations and other publications of Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE - National Institute for Space Research), with the objective  to attribute to these documents an adequate identity. These directions follow the evolution of new technological publishing resources to preserve the intellectual memory of INPE and to guarantee the divulgation of the work developed by the Institution.
